Why call a case Nelson? 
An inspiration to us all Vice Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson led the British navy to it's greates victory on the waves despite being blind in one eye, having only one arm, being unable to swim and being violently sick when at sea!
This case is all about things that achieve greatness when unexpected. These wines are experimental and wouldn't appear to work but taste absolutely incredible.

    Loxarel 999 Cava Pinot Noir Rose..............A deep, rich and unusually full rose sourced high in the Spanish mountains and made from Pinot Noir and the local Trepat grape variety, a blend unusual for the region. A quality producer focused on the environmentally friendly production of fine wines.

    Tapiz Malbec Brut Rose..............................An experimental wine from a earth-concious producer, using the famous red grape Malbec. Here the red is made as a rose, focussing on light fruits but maintaining the spice of the grape while infusing it with the refreshing acidity of the sparkling process. A delicious and suprising wine!

    Filipa Pato 3B Brut Nature..........................Bairrada is the region of 3B's, with this wine using the region's famous grape varieties Baga and Bical. Bairrada was the first region in Portugal to produce sparkling wine, where the Atlantic influence and chalky clay soil are perfect for creating freshness and minerality, while the Baga gives structure and acidity, and Bical the creamy character. 

    Bodega NQN Malma Extra Brut..................The desert winds of Patagonia bring us this refreshing and complex traditional method sparkling wine. On vineyards nestled between two deserts, within an oasis created by the Rio Negro a producer is taking the recipe of the champenoise and adapting it to the perfect Patagonian landscape

    Peller Estates Signature Ice Cuvée..............A wine combining sparkling wine with Canada's other esteemed vinous speciality - ice wine. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are crushed, fermented and aged in bottle for 30 months, before a dosage of ice wine is added to give the wine a honeyed, sweet tropical fruit body. Truly original!
