Tasting Note : This yellow straw coloured wine is full of apricot and ripe apples accompanied by hints of honey and yeast followed by tropical fruits and sweet grapefruit finish. A very well balanced sweetness and acidity.
Blend : 65% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir, 15% Vidal
Wine Making : After the wine goes through natural fermentation, a dosage of ice wine is added made from the grapes that are picked when they are frozen on the vine in cold Canadian nights.
Ageing : Aged in bottle for 30 months.
ABV : 12%
Drink With : Great with fruit based desserts, with cheese and pate, salty appetisers.
